Showcasing results of the NGI EU-US enhanced ecosystem of top researchers, innovators, and policy stakeholders

On 18 and 19 May 2021, NGI (Next Generation Internet) launches the new edition of its flagship event: the NGI Forum 2021. An initiative that ensures security, privacy and trust while empowering people and addressing global sustainability challenges.
In recent years, NGI has always sought to work on technologies and services that reflect European values and rights.
Since the advent of Covid19 , the internet has become a fundamental part of the lives of all people and especially of organisations and companies looking for safe and secure technologies and services. NGI is an essential initiative to bring the human dimension at the core of the Internet.
The NGI forum 2021 will serve to showcase the results of the initiative and to teach all audiences about the impact of ground-breaking internet technologies. Not only that, it will be possible to discuss and listen to future initiatives and priorities in different fields, for example trust and data sovereignty, Internet architecture, decentralised technologies, or new methods of search.
NGIatlantic.eu's winning projects from the first and second Open Calls will have the opportunity to present their innovations in the workshop called "Showcasing results of the NGI EU-US enhanced ecosystem of top researchers,innovators,and policy stakeholders", co-organised with our sister projects, NGI Explorer and THINK-NEXUS both having complementary activities towards supporting and enhancing the collaboration between the EU and the US on NGI related topics.
The workshop is fully virtual, and is structured in three sessions, an awards session for the projects funded by NGI Explorers, a showcase of the projects funded by NGIatlantic.eu and a specific session on EU-US technological collaboration for a human-centric internet organised by THINK-NEXUS.
